SSRV is currently receiving funding from the Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner Grants Program to deliver an online resource that helps people with Centrelink debts and overpayments. Building on what we learned developing DSP Help [https://dsphelp.org.au/], SSRV has used a human-centred design process to develop Social Security Debt Help.
Social Security Debt Help aims to help people understand Centrelink debts and overpayments, the options they have to address a debt, and where and how to get help if they or someone they know has a debt.
The project is continuing in 2024 and updates will be posted here as they happen. But Social Security Debt Help is live now and available to use. Please check it out if you have a debt or you’re helping someone who does.
